Mock hospital wards

Get the most out of your studies, with the mock hospital wards at NTU Mansfield. Our Garvey and Seacole Wards are equipped with hospital beds, industry equipment and lifelike patient mannequins which can be robotically controlled to simulate a range of patient symptoms, illnesses and scenarios you may experience in a real hospital.

Virtual reality wall

Located in our Seacole Ward, the virtual reality wall is a digital projection system that can be set up in real-time with visuals and sounds to simulate realistic scenarios, like a motorway crash scene, school playing field, or a hospital ward simulator. This immersive tool helps Health and Allied Professions students practise how to respond to real-life situations they might face during placements or in their future careers.

GP consultation room

The Centre also includes a GP consultation room where our students can practice a variety of scenarios in a realistic setting.
